In a Box, Packaged With A Bow

The love stuff is 50% off in stores, and African American history has about six days left … no, file him away until next year – he’s black, besides the women are up next … yes, March is women’s month … or, is it the month of the woman … and see if you can get that banker over to the school, April is financial literacy month – don’t forget, the bunnies are due in March this year, not April.

These compartments and neat little packages really keep us spinning.

Is the idea of celebrating all aspects of life every day, any day, too boring – is it variety we seek?

Sometimes I marvel at how we got here. Every single month we are programmed to hold something dear for a specified period of time – then told what to move on to next.

We take all this for granted, it is gospel for all mankind until for some reason we become aware that all the world does not stop on Thanksgiving Day. What?

Hey, we’re having fun!  Are we?

Try this on: buy an extra special, beautiful bouquet of flowers at random times for yourself or some fortunate, unsuspecting recipient. Send a ‘thinking about you’ card, no particular reason is good enough and … pray for others – any day of the week will do …

Just because …
