The Heart of The Matter – Part 3 of 4

This is part three of a four-part blog series. Each of the blogs dives into what I consider to be the three approaches that are needed to manage change and grow – which are some of the greatest mountains that we face. And, as change is one of the few guarantees that we have in life, learning to effectively manage change is of the utmost importance for success. And to make decisions and take actions that work towards becoming your highest self and climbing to your highest peaks, is of the utmost importance for achieving happiness and fulfilment.

Here’s to the heart of the matter!

Our emotions have more qualitative and quantitative impact on how we think and what we do than most of us fully understand.

One way or another, we are seeking to make some form of change or transformation in most, if not all aspects of our lives. There are often unanswered questions relating to how we do it. And we look outside ourselves because we don’t believe we have the capacity to make the difference we want and sometimes need to make. Well, we do have that capacity.

I’m not suggesting we tackle these mountains alone, but you are a powerhouse (even if you don’t know it) whose true engine lies right in the center, not the top, of your own being – your heart. Let that settle for a few moments …

Frankly, we’re not taught to believe in ourselves, nor to respect the domain of our heart and emotions. The push back is the belief that our logical/analytical mind should govern what and how we think, perform and act. Our Mountain Peak Strategies 3H Approach, however, points to our Heart energy as the source that fuels thinking, habits, and behavior, toward your ultimate success.

Like MindOpen™, explained in our last blog, “Does Thinking Make It So?”, HeartSet™ is a term we have coined to describe and distinguish the nuances of our concepts and teaching principles. HeartSet™ defines our attitude, courage, capacity and more to support us along the terrain before us – the hills, mountains, and valleys too. It has substantial impact on what we think and what we do.

If you want change, like the rest of us, explore the transformative power of your own heart. And when you find yourself in situations where you must adapt to change, bolster yourself with that same power.

Watch the follow-up video to hear about how you can feel your way forward – and our final blog in this Adapting to Change series – it will share how you can take definitive and effective action.

And now that we touched on the Heart of the matter, that’s all for this moment.
