The Energy Within

It’s great to have you back. As promised in my last blog – Charged Up! – here is one simple technique to renew your inner battery and two gifts to help you on the way.

Many of us have experienced depletion brought on by uncertainty, fear and sheer exhaustion while trying to move our agendas and goals forward. We suck it up, power through, and hope no one sees how we truly feel. But we don’t HAVE to… there are other ways.

As an Independent Certified HeartMath® Trainer (and through my company, Mountain Peak Strategies), I have learned to apply and share the empowering, scientifically based answers to the challenges I discussed in Charged Up! Quick Coherence® Technique

  1. Focus your attention in the area of the heart. Imagine your breath is flowing in and out of your heart or chest area, breathing a little slower and deeper than usual. Find an easy rhythm that’s comfortable.
  • 2.   As you continue heart-focused breathing, make a sincere attempt to experience a regenerative feeling such as appreciation or care for someone or something in your life.

Don’t be misled by the simplicity of these two steps. All HeartMath® techniques are grounded in the amazing science of your own body’s functions, especially heart-brain coherence, and how they communicate with each other to create change.
