Happy New Year! (Drop the heavy backpack)

You are standing at the trailhead of 2026. Don’t bring the old map with you.

Hi Creators… wishing you a very Happy New Year.

And welcoming you to the trailhead of 2026.

It’s quiet today, isn’t it?

There is a specific magic to January 1st.

The slate is clean… The snow is fresh… The path ahead is wide open.

But I know that for many of you, there is also a shadow of pressure and anxiety.

Because the world is already whispering to you… It’s telling you that you are already behind.

It’s telling you to pick up that heavy backpack labeled “Resolutions” (the gym, the diet, the promotion, the hustle) and start sprinting with it.

I’m here to remind you: Drop the pack.

We are not sprinting this year in an exhausting, rushed way forward.

We are climbing with calm intention and clarity of purpose.

And to climb successfully, we have to agree on the Map.

In December, we burned the old map—the one that defined “Having it All” as “Doing it All.”

Today, on Day 1, we unfurl a New Map… new way of being.

This is our Manifesto for 2026.

  1. We do not chase “More”; we create “Integration.”

This year, we are not interested in a promotion that negatively impacts our marriage.

We are not interested in wealth that costs us our health.

We are building a Unified Ascent.

Our goal is Productivity (The Ascent) that builds our Prosperity (The Summit View), fueled by our Play (The Engine).

If one piece is missing, the climb stops.

  1. Productivity is not Busyness.

Starting tomorrow, the emails will flood back in.

The requests will start.

We resolve right now: We will not confuse motion with progress.

We redefine Productivity as creating outcomes that matter, not clearing an inbox.

  1. Prosperity is Wholeness.

We are climbing for wealth, yes.

But also for health.

For purpose.

For joy.

If we reach the top of the mountain but we are too sick or lonely to enjoy the view, we have failed to reach the fullest definition of prosperity.

  1. Play is Non-Negotiable.

This year, rest is not a reward for the already weary.

It is a strategic set of actions that keep us vibrant. We will play so that we can work.

This is the Expedition.

So, my friend… take a look at your boots. Take a look at the path.

Drop the heavy baggage filled with “the same old expectations”, secure your resources, and calibrate your compass at Base Camp.

You are ready.

The Ascent begins now.

Let’s climb, with intention, towards our summit.
