I Got this!
Have you ever been under the illusion that what you want to achieve is going to take you a much shorter time than it takes most people?
You can see where you’re going, define it, almost taste and touch it. You may also believe in the short cuts. “No, it won’t take me that much time because I…”
You’re all thumbs up – I got this!
Then, it hits you. There are no short cuts. The work is the work IS the work: there is no other way around it! And, it begins to sink in that with some of that work, there appears to be no end in sight. Not yet anyway. Surely there’s an easier way. In search of that easier way, you sign up for the next course.
Take a deep breath with me – been down that road?
We face that mountain. We try to figure out if we can go under it or around it – we give in and realize that over the top is the only viable pathway. How confident is your “I got this” now?
Truly though, ‘you got this’ — You got this when you identify and study the necessary steps. You got this when you decide that you will make it no matter what. You got this when you make a plan to take the actual steps. And, you got this when you put it all together, dig in your heels and get it done joyfully, with determination and well thought out action.
Does your goal feel far away from you right now? It might well be. Albert Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result.
Remember, that you have what it takes to get the job done, although you may have to find a different pathway and guidance.
Now go do what you know is yours to do.
